Greatest Father
When we look at our father’s we look at them as the Greatest Super Hero. Some memories I have of my own father was when I was growing up my father play his guitar and sing. When I was old enough he also taught me to dance the Waltz, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, Fox Trot, Polka. Every Sunday we’d watch, Hee Haw and Lawrence Welk! Oh how I enjoyed dancing with my father.
We’d go to community dances as a family, and when my mother was too tired to dance he would take me onto the dance floor to dance. Twirling around I felt like a princess! Out of my other 3 sisters my father taught me to cook, and where I got my love for cooking. Coming from a large family there was always a reason to cook for gatherings! Oh, how I miss my father….
Family Gatherings
Since my mother never learned to cook, because she was always working her parent’s farm as the eldest of 8 children before and after school it was not a priority. My Father, did the cooking mainly as we got older. I learned to cook. During the holidays I helped my father prep the food alongside my mother and any siblings that were available and interested.
